The family and our parents have been telling for a long time that the Souvannavong family came from one of the largest families in Vientiane ... Before the 16th century there were 3 kingdoms in Laos: the north, the center and the south. With the war between Siam and Vientiane, the family dispersed and changed their name. The story says that the 6 children are of the same father, Th Boupha and same mother, Ng Thoumma The Origins of our family. A. Thao Phimpha B. Nang Oneta C. Thit Som Luang D. Thao Khamsing E. Thao Sali (Phagna Sy) F. Thao Tou They later took a different name as Sundara, Soulignavongsa, Pathammavong, Inthavong, Chanthapanya and Souvannavong. At that time the family name was not important. |
